Stellant Systems Inc. (Stellant) currently has an opportunity for a senior-level Project Engineer to join our team in the Space nanoMPM® product group at our Torrance, California location. Stellant’s industry leading space Traveling Wave Tubes (TWTs), Electronic Power Conditioners (EPCs), and Microwave Power Modules (MPMs) support a wide variety of spacecraft mission needs, with thousands of units in orbit currently. The Space nanoMPM® is the latest additional to this product line, supporting a new variety of spacecraft currently under development. In this position you will lead production, customer interactions, development and continuous improvement efforts on TWTs, EPCs, Linearizers and nanoMPMs. As a senior-level Project Engineer, you will be responsible for technical support throughout the life cycle of a program, and will be expected to gain in-depth knowledge of the entire nanoMPM® product, specifically the RF chain, as you assimilate into the role. You will lead a variety of technical disciplines to ship production hardware, perform general troubleshooting to in-depth root cause analysis (RCA), develop manufacturing process improvements and design upgrades as needed. Effective coordination between all support groups, including engineering, program management, operations, quality, and vendors will be key. You may support business development and proposals as needed.
