Overview

Job Title: Inventory Support 

Job Location: Williamsport, PA 

Transport/distribute material (supplies, documentation, piece parts and/or work in process (WIP) within the facility as required to manufacture products within all product groups.

Responsibilities

  • Efficiently transport/distribute material to all manufacturing and support departments within the
  • Pick-up material from, and deliver material to, specified locations within each
  • Ensure material is secure during transport to prevent injury and/or
  • Ensure documentation for each item is clear and complete before transporting on to the next This includes routers, operator(s)/supervisor(s) initials and/or signatures as required.
  • Generate copies of Work Instructions, Travelers, etc as requested by each
  • Follow designated route/schedule.
  • Work closely with operators, supervisors and/or managers to improve material flow for each
  • Prepare materials for stock/production per instructions.
  • Transfer materials in/out of stock.
  • Maintain work area in clean and orderly
  • Follow all security and safety instructions.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years experience working with, and handling of, precision electro- mechanical components and assemblies preferred.
  • Ability to operate a computer.  Experience with Microsoft Office products is preferred.
  • Able to lift up to 40 pounds.
  • High school graduate or equivalent is preferred.
  • Clerical and mathematical courses helpful
