Overview

Job Title: Quality Engineer

Job Location: Williamsport, PA

 

Responsible for systems, processes, and methods that ensure the quality and conformance of Company or procured products and services.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees quality systems compliance throughout the design, development, and production phases.
  • Participates in design and product reviews to ensure that production, safety, quality management system integrity, and business process management objectives are achieved.
  • Analyzes contractual requirements, product definition, and specification requirements for the development or modification of methods and procedures to ensure quality standards are attained.
  • Implements and assures effective contract flow down requirements, process controls, and product appraisals.
  • Analyzes and compiles performance reports and process control information to determine and improve process capability to Company or industry standards.
  • Performs material review dispositions for non-conforming materials, parts, and equipment.
  • Performs root cause analysis and supports the implementation of corrective actions to reduce or eliminate nonconformance.
  • Other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

  •  2-4 years of quality engineering experience 
  • Company, customer, international, and government qualify systems standards and requirements.
  • Design development, manufacturing, assembly, inspection, and test processes.
  • Quality methods including cause and effect analysis, root cause corrective action, statistical analysis, and material review.
  • Interface with customers, suppliers, engineering, manufacturing, and other functions.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Use a computer and applicable software.
  • Perform effectively in a demanding environment.
