Overview

Job Title: Electronic Assembler

Job Location: Torrance, CA
Salary: $25.00-$35.00/hr

 

You can expect to prepare components by cleaning, wire bonding, sealing, and marking, loading components (such as resistors, transistors, capacitors, integrated circuits, and sockets) on printed circuit boards, and performing interconnecting and harnessing wiring operations, as well as thru-hole and surface mount soldering of components.  In addition, you will install finished assemblies or subassemblies in cases and cabinets, assembling and attaching hardware such as caps, clamps, and switches.

Responsibilities

  • Must be certified (or able to be certified) to J-STD 001 solder standards.
  • Must be able to properly identify all electronic and mechanical components.
  • Requires basic math skills and knowledge of measuring devices.
  • Good manual dexterity is necessary.
  • Requires the ability to use soldering irons, hot plates, UV curve systems, RTV dispensing, and strip wire tools.
  • The ability to lift up to 35 pounds is needed.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to read and understand blueprints and written instructions.

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is needed.
  • At least 2 years of electronic assembly experience.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is needed.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance is required.
  • Must be willing to travel and have an active passport.
