- Minimum of 3 years of prior relevant experience, preferably in quality workmanship inspections of electronic and mechanical assemblies.
- Proven experience as a Quality Inspector in a precision manufacturing environment.
- Strong working knowledge of GD&T and the ability to interpret complex blueprints.
- Hands‑on experience programming and running PC-DMIS for CMM inspections.
- Proficiency in using optical comparators and other precision measurement tools (micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, etc.).
- Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO 9001 quality systems (a plus).
- Exceptional attention to detail, problem‑solving skills, and a commitment to accuracy.
- Must have experience in the use of inspection tools (i.e., microscopes, micrometers, calipers, height gage and scales).
- 20/20 eyesight (corrected) and good hand-eye coordination are necessary.
- Demonstrated ability to work from drawings, engineering documents, and manufacturing or inspection instructions.
- Must be able to determine hardware compliance through the use of specifications and instructions.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 35 pounds.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Must have working knowledge of MS Outlook (email), MS Word, MS Excel, and familiarity working with databases.
- Participate in training and meet necessary certifications as required.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills are essential.
